Divided by the Sea is a collection of multimedia stories about the Mediterranean refugee crisis and its impact on the small city of Reggio Calabria in Southern Italy.”

On the perimeter of St. Augustine's University sits the ruins of Saint Agnes -- Raleigh, North Carolina's own Secret Garden.

One of the first and only regional hospitals available to African Americans, Saint Agnes is now just a shell of a building -- not quite gone and not quite forgotten. Within sight but fenced off and out of reach, Saint Agnes has been left mostly untouched for over 50 years. In that time, nature has reclaimed Saint Agnes -- and the results are strikingly lush.

This mini-documentary peers into the enigmatic, overgrown heart of this historic structure, respectfully nods to the Saint Agnes of the past, and offers a glimmer of hope for what it could become in the future.
